About Me:
I have reached it! Retirement age! I'm loving my slow living and finally living! Debt and mortgage free! Not too bad from a single mom who raised 2 boys on her own and was a residential cleaning lady. Go Me!

I'm proud that I was able to break free from a toxic high demand, perfectionistic religious cult, however my biggest regret in life is that I was a member for most of my life - what a waste of a life! I am grateful to leave the brainwashing behind where they always have to find a group of people to hate for their superiority. I am thankful I have found my loving heart for all, gained my critical thinking and left the brain washing behind! I am free and am extremely happy with the life I am living now.

As a ex-religious member of a cult, I will no longer support the lying to children or any other person that will cause harm to their life. All church/cult handouts and lesson helps have been deleted. I encourage all members of the cult, to research the truth claims as it is available to all on line (thank goodness for the internet). In any cult, we lose our critical thinking skills and are brainwashed using human emotion to deceive us. Please stop giving your talents, time and money to a 500 billion dollar corporation. The truth will set you free!

I am single, divorced and an empty nester. Now that my children are grown, I'm finding ways to continue to be happy, live a great life and learn how to cook for one person.

I have 2 wonderful sons Jason and Brady. They are the light of my life and I've been very blessed to be their mother.

I was a single mother when I married, Jason who was 9 years old at the time. I was only married for a short 4 years. Joyfully, I had my youngest son Brady while I was married. My marriage was hard and a mistake, but I was blessed with a wonderful son through it.

My children are the light of my life! I don't know if I will venture into a marriage again - time will tell. Of course I want the "Happily Every After" with a prince charming that will love and adore me (I'm not crazy).  At this time in my life, I am very happy being a single woman.

My favorite place to be is at home, I am a total home body. I enjoy cooking and baking. I love blogging my life history/journal. I like getting my hands dirty by working in the yard and flower beds. I love a clean home and love to decorate for each holiday. I am HAPPY Always!

My blog is my journal about what my life and what my family is doing.  I enjoy stress free blogging and I will always blog about my children and what is going on. I try not to offend any readers - but ultimately this is for my history and for me. I don't let the pressure of "who" is reading my blog influence "how" I tell my story.

For me, blogging is a wonderful TOOL to leave pleasant memories for my children about my thoughts and feelings. I really don't want to be just a "date" and a "name" for my future generations. It makes me sad that my father died without leaving a journal or life history written by him. I won't do that for my own children and grandchildren. I want to leave a journal behind, so they will know me.

I print off blog books every 6 months. Here are 8 years of blog book - that are really scrap books and journals. This is why I love blogging!

A Few of My Favorite Quotes

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes. "~ Charles Swindoll
